Fable III Review

Fable III is the latest installment in the critically acclaimed action-role playing franchise. Your task is to stage a rebellion against the king of Albion, who is also your brother. CNET's Dan Ackerman says it offers several different types of game play, and a little bit of humor.

"Fable III mixes up a lot of socialization elements and communicating with people and building relationships with traditional action-adventure stuff... like going on quests and getting in fights with monsters," Ackerman said. "(It) ends up coming up with a fairly unique mix of those two sorts of play styles and you end up with something that's completely different from any other role-playing game out there."

The game is available for the Xbox 360 and PCs.
