Gmail conversations, R2-D2 phone.

Sept. 30, 2010— -- Facebook and Skype are talking about joining forces. Published reports say they're expected to combine their services, allowing Facebook members to sign in to Skype using their Facebook Connect accounts. Users could then send text messages, voice chat and video chat with their Facebook friends from within Skype. A deal is expected to be announced within the next few weeks.

Gmail Conversations

Google is giving Gmail users more control over how their inboxes are organized. Users can now turn off the conversation view, which groups together related messages. Instead, they'll be able to stack them in chronological order, like most other e-mail programs.
