TechBytes: Hulu Plus Launches

Cisco's business tablet, Mint Goals review, Wii Summer Games.

June 30, 2010— -- Hulu is unveiling a subscription service. Hulu Plus will feature current shows from ABC, NBC and Fox, as well as complete access to all the episodes from earlier seasons of popular shows. It costs $9.99 a month, but will not be commercial-free. Hulu Plus is initially available on computers, iPads and iPhones, and certain Samsung Blu-ray players and TVs, with more devices to follow.

Cisco's Business Tablet

Cisco Systems is hoping to turn tablet computers into a popular office item. The company says it will launch a new tablet for the business world early next year. It will have a seven-inch screen, making it smaller and lighter than the iPad. It will also have two cameras, to enable videoconferencing. Cisco plans to sell the computers for less than $1,000.

Mint Goals Review

Wii Summer Games

There are no summer Olympics this year, but Nintendo has come up with its own version. It's hosting the Wii Games, a national competition in five Wii events, including basketball, hula hoop and Mario Brothers. There will be events at about two dozen locations around the country beginning July 16. Regional winners will compete in a championship event in Los Angeles in September.
