Mac For X-Mas

If you're used to using a PC, but you're getting a Mac for Christmas, then you better get ready for some change. Wall Street Journal technology columnist Katie Boehret has some advice for new Mac users. She says new users won't find Macs intimidating as long as they know what to do. Her latest column spells out some of the differences between Mac and Windows operating systems, and how to approach them."Some of the most obvious differences are that they have different keyboard set-ups, so instead of using keyboard codes like control c to copy, you use command c. The mouse on a Mac is a little bit different. It doesn't have a right click button, and this confuses a lot of people. But if you just press command and hit the mouse, it will work the same as using a right click button," Boehret says.
