The Sanyo Katana Eclipse has a 1.3-megapixel camera, a music player, and dual LED indicators that provide colorful lighting effects. It has GPS, EV-DO, and access to Sprint TV and the Sprint Music Store. It also has great call quality.

The Sanyo Katana Eclipse suffers from flat and slippery keys, plus mediocre photo quality.

Despite a few quirks, the Sanyo Katana Eclipse is an excellent midrange multimedia phone for Sprint customers.
