Wii Sports -- Wii
-- This is the game that shows off the Wii's capabilities, and it's free when you purchase one of the consoles. Nintendo's been showing off this title ever since E3 in May. Wii Sports includes baseball, bowling, boxing, tennis and golf, games that all make good use of the Wii's motion-sensing controllers. Though you can, it's tough to really enjoy these games while sitting on a couch, and Nintendo knows this. That's why the game has both a fitness and training mode in which you can monitor your progress in each sport and maybe even lose a little weight. Playing doubles tennis with friends or a short round of golf by simply swinging away is proof positive that Nintendo's Wii is for real. Wii Sports is rated "E" for everyone, and comes free with the Wii console system.
