-- Google's latest acquisition is already a hit.
The search giant announced today that it had scooped up Songza, a music streaming and curation service.
"We can’t think of a better company to join in our quest to provide the perfect soundtrack for everything you do," Songza wrote in a blog post. "No immediate changes to Songza are planned, other than making it faster, smarter, and even more fun to use."

Why Google Bought a Drone Company
Google did not immediately disclose the terms of the deal.
Songza is up against some tough competition from the market leaders, which include Pandora, Spotify and iTunes Radio. However, the 6-year-old company has differentiated curating playlists for users depending on the day of the week, a user's mood and the location where they're listening.
The one tune that is pumping through the Songza office today according to the company's blog post?
"Walking on Sunshine."
Seems about right.
