Google Commemorates Roswell UFO With Interactive Doodle

July 8, 2013— -- Roswell, N.M., is the birthplace of Demi Moore, home to the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art and the landing spot for Felix Baumgartner's free-fall at the edge of space.

But it's main claim to fame is it's the place where the United States had one of its first encounters with an unidentified flying object.

There's no denying that this UFO has made an impact on American pop culture, enough so that today's Google Doodle celebrates its 66th anniversary with a point-and-click adventure game.
