Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy S7

— -- The first step of getting a new smartphone is unboxing it and marveling at how awesome it looks and feels in your hands.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge hit stores on Friday, March 11, but ABC News has a sneak peek of what Samsung fans can expect when they get their hands on one of the new devices.
The new phones come in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium. We unboxed a Galaxy S7 in Black Onyx in the video above.
The Galaxy S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch screen -- the same size as the iPhone 6 Plus. Both devices have a curved back, while the he Galaxy S7 Edge also has a curved front.
Pricing will vary by carrier but prices are starting around $649.99 for the galaxy S7 and $749.99 for the Galaxy S7 Edge. Many carriers will also be offering monthly installment plans, allowing people looking to upgrade to pay as little as $28/month over the course of two years.
