Walt Disney World Parks to Reopen After Shutting Down for Hurricane Matthew
As weather starts to improve in some areas, Disney destinations resume business
-- Florida's Walt Disney World theme parks will reopen at 8 a.m. Saturday after closing on Thursday in anticipation of Hurricane Matthew, according to theme park officials.
The reopen includes Walt Disney World theme parks (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios). Water parks, Disney Springs and miniature golf courses will open Saturday at 10 a.m. Disney waived dining and Disney Resort hotel cancellation fees for all Guests, according to the resort's help page.
Disney World gets nearly 150,000 visits each day.
