Bush Celebrates Christmas with Family at Camp David
Dec. 25, 2006 -- For President Bush, it's a family-only affair in the cozy confines of Camp David this Christmas Day.
President Bush, First Lady Laura and the twins are celebrating with the president's father and mother and mother-in-law, Jenna Welch.
The president's brother Marvin Bush, his wife Margaret, Bush's sister Doro and her husband Bobby Koch and their families will also join the president at the secluded presidential retreat in Maryland's Catoctin Mountains.
The president's younger brothers Neil and Jeb Bush and their families will be absent this year.
Jeb Bush is busy moving back to Miami from Tallahasse after residing in the governor's mansion since 1999.
White House Executive Chef Walter Scheib has planned a traditional Christmas Day lunch for the first family. The menu features turkey with giblet gravy, cornbread dressing and mashed potatoes. The menu also includes green beans, sweet potato casserole, rolls, ambrosia fruit salad, and pumpkin and pecan pies.
Vice President Dick Cheney is spending the Christmas-New Year's holiday in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
