Children Trapped Inside Bounce House as It Tumbled Across Field
Both 10-year-olds were hospitalized.
June 1, 2014 -- Two 10-year-old children were hospitalized after they were trapped inside an inflatable bounce house that tumbled across a field at a Colorado park.
The incident happened Saturday in Littleton.
The bounce house was tossed about 300 feet before finally coming to a rest.
"We saw the wind kicking up and all of a sudden the wind took the jumpy slide with it and we were just horrified," witness Vanessa Atencio said.
The children's conditions weren't immediately released.
In May, a bounce house went airborne in South Glens Falls, N.Y., injuring two children.
In 2011, 13 children were injured when a bounce house was blown across a field during a youth soccer tournament in Oceanside, N.Y.
