— -- A West Virginia mom who is outspoken on social media about her conservative beliefs has become a target on the Internet, even receiving death threats, she said.

Holly Fisher, 27, holds an AR-15 rifle in one hand and a bible in the other in one viral photo, with the American flag in the background. In another, she’s wearing a pro-life T-shirt and clutching a Chick-fil-A cup, standing in front of a Hobby Lobby store, the day after the Supreme Court ruled that closely held, for-profit corporations with religious objections do not have to provide free contraception coverage for employees.

Those photos sparked backlash and online debate about gun rights and religion. Fisher, a mother of three in Nitro, West Virginia, and a self-described Army wife and Christian, said she was shocked by the criticism.

“It’s funny that the people who think that I’m intolerant for what I believe in are the ones saying the worst things,” she told ABC affiliate WCHS.

Fisher even drew comparisons to the notorious Islamic terrorist, Sherafiyah Lewthwaite, nicknamed The White Widow, prompting countless memes showing the women side-by-side, both hoisting religious texts and firearms. Others nicknamed her the “Jihad Barbie.”

Fisher said the link to Lewthwaite is ridiculous.

“She hates everything about this country, she would kill everyone in this country. There really is no comparison,” she told WCHS.

“I love this country, I love this state, and I feel like right now, it’s not in a good place,” Fisher added.

Fisher declined an interview with ABC News.
