Couple Ties the Knot on Southwest Airlines Flight

Friends, family and passengers watched Dottie Coven and Keith Stewart's wedding.

— -- Dottie Coven and Keith Stewart wanted to make flying fun again.

Coven and Stewart met two years ago. Their jobs take them across the country, so they decided to get married in the air. Stewart wrote a letter to Southwest, and the airline agreed to the wedding request.

“It’s nonstop love,” Stewart told WFAA. “That’s what it’s all about.”

The couple traded in their Rapid Rewards points to acquire 30 tickets for family and friends, according to WFAA. The flight also contained dozens of passengers who watched on, inadvertent wedding guests.

Coven danced down the aisle in her wedding dress.

The couple read vows from their mobile phones.

“I Dottie, choose you Keith, to be my husband, in front of our friends, our family, and random – but very special – guests,” Coven said.
