2 in Critical Condition After Stolen Vehicle Collides With Trolley

SEPTA says all injuries from the trolley are not life-threatening.

— -- More than 20 people have been transported to a Philadelphia hospital after a trolley collided head-on with a stolen Hyundai Tuscon in the southwest section of the city at 9:27 a.m., the Philadelphia Police Department told ABC News.

The two men in the Hyundai were transported to Presbyterian Hospital and placed in "extremely critical condition," according to police. One of the men had to be extracted from the car, police said.

SEPTA told ABC News that multiple cameras are located on the trolley and the video is now in the hands of the Philadelphia Police Department.

SEPTA Chief Thomas Nestle posted an image of the crushed car on Twitter.
