— -- A cruise ship struck a wall in a river lock in the Saint Lawrence Seaway in New York, injuring 17 people, authorities said.

Jim Chestnut, supervisor of dispatch operations for St. Lawrence County, told ABC News 17 people were injured, but none is believed to be life-threatening.

The Saint Laurent is owned by International Shipping Partners.

The crash is under investigation, the Coast Guard said.
