6 Dead After Highway Crash in New Mexico
The accident happened during a severe dust storm.
May 23, 2014 -- Two cars collided during a severe dust storm in New Mexico, killing six people, State Police said.
The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday along Interstate 10 in Hidalgo County, several miles from the Arizona border.
Authorities are investigating the crash, and the highway’s eastbound lanes remained closed hours after the accident.
