See the Dense Fog That Brought Dallas to a Standstill
The Dallas Fort-Worth airport temporarily halted departures.
-- A dense bank of fog rolled into Dallas this morning, temporarily putting the Texas city at a standstill.
The thick blanket of fog obscured much of downtown Fort-Worth except for a few skyscrapers high enough to be seen above the fog.
The weather was so bad that the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport issued a ground stop and at least 50 flights were canceled by 10 a.m., according to ABC News affiliate WFAA-TV in Dallas.
Dallas was not the only city hit with fog. Residents of Odessa, Texas, were forced to deal with severely reduced visibility as they headed off on their daily commutes.
