In Tallahassee, a downed tree demolished a Whataburger fast food restaurant, a photo posted to Twitter shows.

The storm battered the Sunshine State, killing one person and leaving another 250,000 residents without power. It has been moving northeast at 20 mph and was located about 35 miles southwest of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as of Friday evening.
