Family of Missing Philadelphia Man Turn to Eagles Fans for Help
Shane Montgomery has been missing since Thanksgiving morning.
-- The family of a missing Philadelphia man turned to Eagles' fans today for help finding him.
Family and friends of missing college student Shane Montgomery, 21, distributed missing person flyers today to tailgaters at Lincoln Financial Field. Many of them wore green ribbons, which is Shane's favorite color, ABC News' Philadelphia station WPVI-TV reported.
The family has increased the reward for information regarding Montgomery's disappearance to $50,000.
Montgomery mysteriously disappeared Thanksgiving morning after leaving a Philadelphia bar.
He was last seen with his friends and a cousin at Kildare's Irish Pub. He left on foot and hasn't been seen since, police said.
The FBI has now joined local authorities in the search.
Montgomery's relatives are shocked by his disappearance.
"I wish that Shane would come walking in the door any minute," his mother, Karen Montgomery, said.
"There had to be people in the neighborhood. There had to be people to see something," she said.
Montgomery has green eyes and light brown hair. He was last seen in a gray hooded sweatshirt, a gray button-up shirt and jeans, according to the website Help Find Shane Montgomery.
