Glass Slide Ride Coming to Los Angeles Skyscraper
The slide will be attached to the tallest building on the West Coast.
-- Thrill-seekers will soon have the chance to sail down a glass side suspended 1,000 feet above ground and attached to the tallest building on the West Coast.
Starting in June, it will cost $8 to slide down a portion of the 72-story U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles.
The fully enclosed glass slide will take riders from the building's 70th floor down to the outside observation level on the 69th floor, the building's owner announced Tuesday.
The entire length of the Skyslide is 45 feet.
The downtown Los Angeles building's outdoor space is known as OUE Skyspace LA. The building's owner calls it the "tallest open-air observation deck in California."
