Hundreds Evacuated as Crews Combat Growing Wildfires in Yarnell, Arizona
No injuries have been reported. Between 250 and 300 have voluntarily evacuated.
-- Fire crews are still working to contain a wildfire that grew to more than 700 acres near Yarnell, Arizona, Wednesday evening, officials said.
No injuries have been reported while several buildings have sustained damage, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
Officials say there is no threat to the town, but crews continue to monitor the situation.
Hotshot crews are in the area as more repellent drops were expected overnight and into the morning.
Officials say about 250 to 300 people evacuated Wednesday night, but that those leaving were voluntary.
The wildfire was burning near the site of the 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire where members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots died when they got trapped by the flames. It was considered one of the deadliest for wildland firefighters in decades.
