Inside the FSU Library During the School Shooting

Students shared photos of how they hid during the rampage.

— -- When shooting erupted early this morning at a Florida State University library, students ran for safety, dove behind book shelves, barricaded doors and took to social media.

Three students were injured and the suspect was fatally shot by police. No details about the suspect, including whether or not the shooter was a student at the school, have been released.

The gunfire began during an overnight cram session in Strozier Library. Students heard about six gunshots from within the building shortly after midnight and ran for hiding spots, according to the Associated Press.

Accounts soon began emerging from the library on social media. Here are some of the most harrowing images:
