John Kasich Snubs Trump With Write-In Vote for McCain
The Ohio governor was a candidate for president.
-- Former Republican presidential nominee John Kasich publicly snubbed Donald Trump with a write-in vote for Sen. John McCain, according to his spokesman.
The Ohio governor has been a critic of Trump -- who assailed McCain for being captured during the Vietnam War -- blasting the real estate mogul's claims of a "rigged" election as "silly."
He has also criticized Trump's foreign policy, although not mentioning him by name.
Kasich voted Republican down the rest of the ballot, according to the spokesman.
