Midterm Elections 2014: Clay Aiken Campaign Bus Breaks Down
The singer-turned-politician is running for Congress.
-- Clay Aiken's campaign to represent a part of North Carolina in the House hit a bump in the road on Election Day when his campaign bus broke down as it left a polling station.
The accident happened after Aiken voted, around 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Police had to tow the bus off the road, according to ABC News affiliate WTVD.
Aiken is running for Congress against Republican Renee Ellmers, who currently represents the 2nd Congressional District.
