NYC Commuters Stranded for 2 Hours After Subway Track Freezes

It happened during the morning commute.

The 11-car train that became came to a halt at 9:33 a.m. created a logjam on the entire line - leaving at least four trains stalled in its wake on the No. 7 line from Queens into Manhattan. All of the trains were back in nearby stations by 11:33 a.m., MTA officials said.
