Paddle Boarder Mystery: South Lake Tahoe Cops Looking at GoPro Selfies to ID Mystery Man

The man left behind a GoPro camera, a selfie stick and a life jacket.

— -- Police in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada, are using selfies to piece together the mysterious case of a missing, unidentified paddle boarder.

At 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, a man who identified himself as "Morym" checked out a paddle board for one hour at South Lake Tahoe Standup Paddle, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department said.

As authorities search the water for the man, police are also combing through the footage from the abandoned GoPro in hopes of identify the mystery paddle boarder.

The man has not yet been reported missing by anyone associated with him, Williams said, but police are treating it as a missing person’s case.
