School Bus Crash in Baltimore County Sends 9 to Hospital, Officials Say
A school bus crashed in Baltimore County, about 60 miles north of Washington.
-- A school bus crashed in Baltimore County, Maryland, sending eight students and the driver to a local hospital with injuries, according to police and fire officials. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
The Baltimore County Fire Department said it responded to a crash at about 2:30 p.m.. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the bus tipped on its side.
The cause of the crash is unknown and currently under investigation, the full scope of which is expected to last several weeks, according to police.
About 42 people were on the bus. Those not injured on the bus were taken to a local high school following the crash.
