Two Single-Engine Planes Collide in Midair in Georgia
The crash took place at the West Georgia Regional Airport.
-- Two single-engine aircraft collided in midair at the West Georgia Regional Airport in Carrollton, Georgia, today, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
"The FAA will investigate, and the [National Transportation Safety Board] will determine the cause of the accident," the FAA said in a statement.
The crash took place near the end of the airport runway.
