One skydiver landed in a tree.
-- Two skydivers were hospitalized after they collided mid-air in Calverton, Long Island, Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Kevin Arcamona, 29, said he was in a free fall with Patricia Baronowski, 46, when his knee collided with her head, knocking her unconscious, according to the Riverhead Police.
Baronowski's reserve parachute activated automatically and she landed in a tree about 15 to 20 feet above the ground, police said.
Baronowski was in serious condition early Saturday evening, according to Stony Brook Hospital. Arcamona was discharged Saturday.
In a statement, the skydiving company, Skydive Long Island, said its "thoughts and prayers are with both jumpers and we wish them a full and speedy recovery."
