Hillary Clinton declined to say the United States is at war with ISIS, and said "we’re not yet winning" the fight against the terrorist network, during an exclusive interview Sunday on "This Week With George Stephanopoulos."

"We're not winning, but it's too soon to say that we are doing everything we need to do," Clinton said when asked if the United States is winning the fight against ISIS.

"And I've outlined very clearly. We have to fight them in the air, we have to fight them on the ground, and we have to fight them on the Internet, and we have to do everything we can with our friends and partners to protect ourselves," she added.

While both President Obama and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have called for stricter gun control measures in the wake of the recent shooting attacks in California and Colorado, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said such proposals are nothing more than "cotton candy" that might taste good but won't actually make the country safer.

"What Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama propose is cotton candy. ... It has no relationship to anything that will help to make the body of the country safer or better," the Republican presidential candidate said in a radio interview with Hugh Hewitt on Friday. "Just like eating cotton candy, nothing good for the body, just makes you feel good for a couple of minutes."

3. Texas Teen Whose Last Wish Was to See Parents Has Died

An ill Texas teenager whose last wish was to see her parents whom she hadn't seen in 13 years has died, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Qirat Chapra, 18, was a patient at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, where she was being treated for T-cell lymphoma and other illnesses, including lung disease and pneumonia.

Chapra died Saturday at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman told ABC News today. The family did not release any additional information on her death, said the spokeswoman.

4. Morgan Freeman's Plane Forced to Make Emergency Landing

Actor Morgan Freeman was uninjured after his plane blew a tire while taking off at an airport in Mississippi and had to make an emergency landing.

In a statement, Freeman, 78, said that he was on his plane en route to Texas to shoot a segment for National Geographic’s "The Story of God."

"Sometimes things don't go as planned and a tire blew on take-off, which caused other problems," Freeman said. "But thanks to my excellent pilot Jimmy Hobson we landed safely without a scratch. I cannot say the same about my plane. I appreciate the concern and prayers for our safety."
