--> -- YOU COULD ALREADY BE A LOSER

COVINGTON, Ky.

A man who planned to live a life of leisure in Australia after winning a $65.4 million Powerball lottery instead has a few days of court in his future.

He’s not really the kind of winner lottery officials dream about.

In the month since he was anointed a millionaire, the debonair Mack Metcalf, 42, has been served with a court order to pay $31,000 in overdue child support.

He has been charged with public drunkenness outside a sports bar.

And now he has filed suit to obtain a temporary restraining order to get back the $500,000 gift he gave to a woman in a drunken spending spree.

Metcalf claimed in a lawsuit that he gave $500,000 to Deborah Hodge “while in an intoxicated state.” A judge in the Kenton County Circuit Court has frozen Hodge’s assets after Metcalf said he gave her the money only after she harassed and threatened him.

He has said that with his mounting legal problems he does not know how soon he will be able to fulfill his dream of moving to Australia.

No word if he’s available, ladies, but standby.

WHO’S YOUR DADDY?

FORT MYERS, Fla. The “daughter of God” has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sending her disciples out to “plunder the Earth.”

Among their dirty deeds was a string of New Year’s Eve armed robberies, masterminded by the self-proclaimed daughter of God.

“I have not deceived. I have not lied. I am Queen Shahmia,” Richelle Denise Bradshaw told Circuit Judge Thomas Reese before sentencing.

She denied ever telling her “manservants” to steal to support her opulent lifestyle.

“God is going to have his way. If prison is where he chooses I go, I go with a beautiful smile,” she said.

Jurors had convicted Bradshaw of seven felony counts on July 3 after a follower testified Bradshaw directed her entourage to go out and “plunder the Earth.” Bradshaw, 34, could have been sentenced up to 85 years in prison for conspiracy to commit robbery, five counts of robbery and grand theft. Investigators said two convenience stores, two restaurants and a theater were held up.

Bradshaw’s nomadic ministry group included her husband, Phillip Bradshaw, four followers and eight children. They traveled around Florida living on donations and staying in luxury hotels, authorities said.

“The defendant is without remorse and does not accept responsibility for her behavior,” said Prosecutor Felicia Wilcox.

OH, THE THINGS YOU'LL STEAL!

NEW YORK Police said Goofy and his wily sidekick the Grinch are suspected in a Bronx home-invasion robbery, police said.

The Grinch, known as the sinister antagonist in Dr. Seuss’ how-to guide “How The Grinch Stole Christmas,” is possibly the “green, furry creature” described by the victim.

The unidentified 58-year-old woman told police she awoke at 3 a.m. to find two costumed men in her room. She said one looked like the floppy-eared Disney character Goofy, who is not known to have any such criminal record.

The woman said the men pointed guns at her and stole $600 in cash, some jewelry, a TV set and her car. The suspects remained at large Monday. Police were not certain how the men got into the woman’s house.

Police were investigating whether the robbery was connected to the burglary of the woman’s next door neighbor earlier this month when $25,000 in cash was taken. The owner of that home was asleep at the time the money — in a briefcase — was taken.
