1. Man Hacked to Death in London Was Serving Soldier

The murder of a British soldier by two men believed to be of Nigerian backgrounds was driven by radical Islamist sentiment, officials say. The attack happened a few blocks from the Royal Artillery Barracks with the two men using meat cleavers and knives to hack the victim to death.

2. Wash. Man Charged in Ricin Scare

The FBI has arrested suspect Matthew Ryan Buquet who allegedly sent U.S. District Judge Fred Van Sickle a letter containing the poison ricin.
