U.S. embassies and consulates in 19 cities across the Muslim world will be closed through Saturday, August 10 due to terror threats.

2. Rodriguez to Play Amid Suspension Rumors

Alex Rodriguez will play tonight against the Chicago White Sox but will be suspended for the rest of the 2013 season and possibly through 2014 for his alleged involvement with a Miami clinic accused of distributing performance-enhancing drugs.

3. Train Derails in La., 100 Homes Evacuated

More than 20 cars of a Union Pacific train carrying hazardous materials derailed near Lawtell, Louisiana, forcing the evacuation of about 100 homes.

4. Powerball Jackpot Grows to $400M
