Taco Bell is name-dropping its rival’s mascot to promote its new breakfast menu. The fast-food chain began airing ads Thursday that feature dozens of men who happen to be named Ronald McDonald, the clown mascot known for his yellow jumpsuit and bright hair.

2. President Obama Meets Pope Francis At The Vatican

President Obama met Pope Francis at the Vatican today. In his first official visit, which began at roughly 10:30 a.m. in Rome and 5:30 a.m. Eastern, the president and the pope were set to spend approximately an hour together.

3. Satellite Spots New Objects as Weather Slows Flight 370 Search

As search efforts for the Malaysia Airlines plane missing in the southern Indian Ocean were scaled back today due to bad weather, new satellite images have emerged showing about 300 new objects floating nearby, officials said.
