1. Allen's Second-Half Burst Keys Blue Devils' NCAA Title Win

With two of Duke's star freshmen in foul trouble in the biggest game of the season, the Blue Devils found a championship-saving jolt from an unlikely source.

The fourth and often overlooked member of Duke's heralded freshman class scored 16 points in Monday night's NCAA championship game. That included a run of eight straight points for Duke — along with a huge burst of energy — that helped Duke get back in a game that was slipping away and beat Wisconsin 68-63 for the program's fifth title.

2. Wife Refuses to Give Up on Husband in Coma After Crash - Then He Wakes Up

Danielle Josey Davis had been married only seven months when a devastating motorcycle accident left her husband on life support and in a coma.

Doctors recommended letting Matt Davis die because there was a 90 percent chance he would never wake up, but Danielle told ABC News she decided it just wasn't time yet. Then, one day, he woke up.

"I'm sure glad I married her," Matt Davis told ABC News, though he doesn't remember Danielle from before the 2010 crash that caused his traumatic brain injury.

3. Poisoned in Paradise: Delaware Boys Remain in Critical Condition, Attorney Says

Two Delaware boys remain in critical condition after falling seriously ill while on vacation at a Caribbean resort where they may have been exposed to a dangerous chemical, according to a lawyer for the boys' family.

"Many questions remain why an odorless pesticide of this level of toxicity could be manufactured, distributed and applied in a residential area resulting in this family's injuries," family attorney James Maron said in a written statement.

4. California's Drought Plan Mostly Lays Off Agriculture, Oil Industries

When California Gov. Jerry Brown ordered mandatory water conservation measures for the first time in state history last week, agriculture, the state’s biggest water user, was largely exempted from the new rules, an omission that quickly drew criticism even among fans of the measure.

“It is striking that his executive order refines restrictions to the urban sector that consumes only 20 percent of California’s water and leaves the agricultural sector, which consumes 80 percent of the water, untouched at least for the moment," said Mark Hertsgaard, an environmental journalist and author who lives in San Francisco. "You can’t leave 80 percent of the problem off the table.”

5. Sesame Street Parodies 'Game of Thrones' in Humorous Fashion

The Sesame Street gang parodied the HBO series “Game of Thrones” in a new video – with a witty segment called “Game of Chairs” featuring Grover Bluejoy (instead of Theon Greyjoy).

The video features a game of musical chairs to determine the next king or queen of “Jesteros,” playing off the fantasy world of Westeros and its most notable characters.
