1. Girl Undergoes Liver Transplant Months After Twin Sister Gets Transplant From Dad

A 3-year-old girl is recovering from a life-saving liver transplant thanks to an anonymous donor just two months after her twin sister underwent the same operation.

Binh Wagner underwent the lengthy surgery sometime in the last month, according to officials for the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

"There are not enough words to thank the amazing and so unselfish donor," Binh's mother, Johanne Wagner, said on the family's Facebook page.

2. Elian Gonzalez: What the Boy Once in the Middle of a US-Cuba Tug of War Is Up to Today

It has been 15 years since Elian Gonzalez, asleep in his aunt's Miami home when he was 6 years old, was taken into custody by U.S. federal agents.

In the early morning hours of April 22, 2000, agents burst into his room, guns drawn, and scooped him up and out before the Cuban exile community could stop them.

Elian was the center of an epic battle between the United States and Cuba over where the boy should live out the rest of his childhood.

3. US Resident Details Journey on Storm-Battered Cruise Ship

Ada Rojas was relieved to be on dry, stable land again.

Rojas, a 25-year-old art gallery associate hailing from New York City, was working in the art gallery of a Carnival Spirit cruise ship that was stuck at sea due to 30-foot waves off of Australia’s coast. The ship finally docked in Sydney Harbor Wednesday, about 24 hours later than expected.

Rojas, speaking to ABC News in a Skype interview, said the waves broke some of the ship’s windows and damaged items such as satellite dishes, along with frames and artwork. The ship’s passengers were forced to get creative and resourceful due to the choppy conditions, she said.

“I was too scared to leave my room. Even trying to walk down the corridors, it was very hard. You kind of had to stabilize yourself and hold on to what you could,” Rojas said.

4. Rest in Peace Tinkerbell, Paris Hilton's Starlet Dog

Tinkerbell, the constant canine companion of celebrity Paris Hilton, has died at age 14.

Hilton announced the dog’s death on social media, posting a series of photos in memory of the teacup Chihuahua.

“I feel like I've lost a member of my family. She was such a special & incredible soul,” Hilton wrote. “We went through so much together. I can't believe she's gone. I will miss her & think about her for the rest of my life. I love you Tinky, you are a Legend & will never be forgotten.”

5. Top 12 Movies We Can't Wait to See This Summer

Even if parts of the country are still waiting for warmer weather to arrive, Hollywood is already getting ready for summer -- at the box office that is.

The summer movie season, which unofficially kicks off in May, has its share of big tent-pole films, comedies, family fare and indie dramas.
