1. Boy or Girl? Family With 12 Sons Finds out Soon About No. 13

A western Michigan couple with 12 sons are waiting to find out whether baby No. 13 keeps the streak going.

Jay and Kateri Schwandt's baby is due Saturday, the day before Mother's Day. They're sticking to their tradition of not finding out in advance whether they're having a boy or girl.

They said they'd be shocked if the baby is a girl.

2. Middle-Schooler Fights Off Sexual Predator in Her Own Home

Authorities in northern California are searching for a "bold" sexual predator whose brazen midday attack on a young teenager as she returned home from school was caught on a home surveillance camera.

In the video, the man can be seen trailing the 13-year-old girl as she makes her way home Tuesday in San Jose, California. He approaches her on the front step of her house and then forces his way into the girl's home through the door.

Police said he attempted to sexually assault her in the foyer. In the video, she fights back, pushing him away and slamming her hand into his face. After stopping and a brief pause, the man flees out of the house.

3. Tom Brady Addresses 'Deflategate' Report

Tom Brady said Thursday he didn't really have any comment or reaction to the Deflategate report in which lead attorney Ted Wells said it "is more than probable" Brady was aware of the release of air from the Patriots' footballs.

Speaking at Salem State University during an event scheduled before the release of the report, Brady said he hopes to respond as soon as he has time to fully process the report and investigation.

"Are you that slow a reader?" sportscaster Jim Gray jokingly asked.

"My athletic career is better than my academic career," Brady joked back, noting, "[I] usually only read X's and O's. ... This was a bit longer."

4. Big Bird Puppeteer Caroll Spinney Recalls Heartbreaking Story About Dying Fan

The man behind Big Bird shared an emotional story about how he brought joy to a dying fan in the final moments of his young life.

Caroll Spinney, who most of the world knows by his "Sesame Street" alter ego, hosted an 'ask me anything' interview on Reddit while promoting a documentary about his life and the first questioner prompted a truly heartbreaking revelation.

When asked about his most meaning interaction with a child, Spinney told what he called a "very sad story, but it's real."

5. Alex Rodriguez passes Willie Mays with 661st career home run

For Alex Rodriguez, Willie Mays is in the rearview mirror. Next stop, Babe Ruth.

Rodriguez, the New York Yankees' designated hitter, moved ahead of Mays into sole possession of fourth place on baseball's all-time home runs list with a solo blast -- the 661st of his career -- in the third inning of Thursday's game at Yankee Stadium.

That leaves just Ruth (714), Hank Aaron (755) and Barry Bonds (762) ahead of Rodriguez on the list.
