1. Protesters, Police Face Off in 4th Night of Ferguson Demonstrations

Protests resumed overnight in Ferguson, Missouri, with at least 23 people arrested – the fourth night of demonstrations in the St. Louis suburb amid the anniversary of the fatal shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown.

No shootings, burglaries, lootings or property damage were reported, and no one was injured, police said.

2. Family Drives 90 Miles Before Realizing They Left Daughter at Rest Stop

A 3-year-old girl was mistakenly left behind by her parents for more than two hours at a highway stop in southern France, local authorities told ABC News.

“Another family was at the rest stop and noticed the girl was alone for a while,” Clara Thomas, deputy prefect of the town of Die, in the Drome region, said on French TV. “They took care of her and called police to let them know."

3. Donald Trump: I’m Not Ruling Out an Independent Run…For Now

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump says he has no imminent plan to rule out a third-party run for president –- at least not yet.

For now, Trump says he is sticking with his position that he could opt for a third-party run if the Republican Party doesn’t treat him well.

“It’s absolutely possible that at some point I would change that,” Trump told ABC News over the phone, but, he added, such a change “is not imminent.”

4. Body Matching Description of Annie Lennox's Daughter's Boyfriend Found, Police Say

Police have found a body in the Hudson River that matches the description of Ian Jones, the boyfriend of Annie Lennox's daughter, days after a kayaking accident this past weekend in New York.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said an autopsy will be performed Tuesday to determine the cause of death and confirm identification. The body was discovered around noon near the Poughkeepsie Yacht Club, police said.

5. Mississippi Bride Receives Touching Letter From Mom Written 20 Years Before Wedding Day

Two decades ago, Sherry Blackledge wrote her infant daughter a heartfelt letter and kept it by her bedside.

Then, on the girl's wedding day, she finally gave it to her.
