1. Second Republican Presidential Debate

The second Republican debate is just around the corner.

Eleven candidates are slated to be on stage for the main debate at 8 p.m. tonight at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Donald Trump remains the frontrunner nationally and in the early states, but his rivals are starting to take the gloves off. The four bottom-tier candidates will be in an undercard debate at 6 p.m.

It seems likely that Ronald Reagan’s rule -– never speak badly of a fellow Republican –- will be violated several times in his own presidential library.

2. 10-Year-Old Boy Among 16 Dead in Utah Flash Flooding

Twelve people, including a 10-year-old boy, are dead after flash floods tore through the town of Hildale, Utah, Monday night, on the border with Arizona, authorities said.

One person is missing, Washington County Emergency Services said.

Separately, four people were killed in nearby Zion National Park and three people remained missing as a result of the flooding.

3. Police Release 911 Call and Note from 2nd Killing Linked to Alleged Delta State Shooter

The academic suspected of killing a fellow professor at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, made a chilling 911 call saying that he had shot his wife to death and left a note that he wished he could "take it back," according to police.

Shannon Lamb, the suspect in a fatal shooting on a Mississippi college campus, allegedly admitted to the murder of Amy Prentiss, saying "I shot my wife last night," according to the call, released by the Gautier, Mississippi, Police Department.

5. Mom Wins Legal Step in 8-Year Battle Over 'Dancing Baby' YouTube Video

A mom in Pennsylvania may be one step closer to getting her day in court to seek damages against a record company over a YouTube video that showed her baby dancing to a song by Prince.

Universal Music asked YouTube to take down a video posted by Stephanie Lenz that showed her baby Holden dancing to Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" in 2007. The 29-second video, which showed the baby dancing to music that was playing on a stereo in the background, was taken down temporarily.

"I didn't like being accused of something that I didn't do," Lenz told ABC News in 2007. Universal Music had stated that Lenz's video constituted copyright infringement.
