Video of Officer Pranking Driver with Ice Cream Goes Viral
The officer cited the driver for driving on a hot day without an ice cream cone.
-- Police officers in southern Virginia pranked an unsuspecting driver with a cold treat on a hot July day.
The video showed Officer Brian Warner of Halifax, Virginia, stopping a female driver for violating "vehicle code 1.7.3.9," which stipulated that it is against the law to "drive on a hot day without an ice cream cone."
The woman, who at first appeared nervous, burst into laughter along with her passenger.
They both got free ice cream cones from Officer Warren and Police Chief Kevin Lands, who was filming the encounter and later posted it online where its since gone viral.
The minute-long video which was uploaded on Friday has since garnered more than 3.5 million views on Facebook.
