Sailors promise they'll be home for the holidays next year.
— -- The crew of USS Carl Vinson released a heartwarming holiday video promising friends and family that this time next year, they'll be celebrating at home.
"I know it's not eternity, just a little more time at sea, but next year I'll be home for the holidays," the crew sings in the video they made, posted on YouTube this week.
The ship operates in the Arabian Sea and is currently docked in Dubai, "a well-deserved break" for the sailors and a chance for them to call home and wish their families a merry Christmas, according to USS Carl Vinson's Facebook page.
