Wednesday's Baltimore Orioles vs. White Sox Game Closed to Public
The two postponed games will be played as a doubleheader on May 28.
-- Wednesday's baseball game between the Baltimore Orioles and the Chicago White Sox will be closed to the public, the Orioles said today, in the wake of violence in the streets of Baltimore.
The Orioles vs. White Sox games originally scheduled for Monday and today at Oriole Park were postponed, and will now be played as a doubleheader in Baltimore May 28.
Additionally, the Orioles' May 1 to May 3 weekend series against the Tampa Bay Rays will be moved from Baltimore to Florida, the team said.
Wednesday's game will begin at 2:05 p.m. ET.
Over 200 people were arrested in Baltimore after violence erupted in the streets Monday afternoon.
The violence followed the funeral for Freddie Gray, the Baltimore man who officials say died earlier this month from injuries he sustained after being arrested by police.
