World War II-Era Plane Makes Emergency Landing
The vintage aircraft broke formation to land at DCA.
-- A World War II-era plane participating in Washington, D.C.'s VE Day flyover made an emergency landing at Reagan National Airport today.
The vintage aircraft apparently suffered a hydraulics malfunction and broke formation to land at the airport. It was later pushed off the runway, causing delays.
Fire trucks quickly arrived on the scene to clear the runway.
