June 21, 2007 — -- For the first time the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a division of the Health and Human Services Department, has posted a ranking of more than 4,800 hospitals nationwide online.
You can search by your region, or for a specific hosptial and see how it rates for heart attack and heart failure mortality rates compared with the national average.
