The University of Michigan reports that people's memory begins to decline slowly at age 20, although it is usually not noticeable until later. Aging isn't all bad, though — researchers say people's ability to absorb general knowledge increases steadily until the age of 70.

In more evidence about the power of faith, researchers at Louisiana State University report that eighth-graders who participate in religious activities had higher self-esteem than those who did not.
