Overscheduled Kids? Advice for Parents

Every kid is different. Know what works for your child. Some may thrive on busy schedules. Others do not.

What is appropriate has to be determined for each child according to their own needs, skills and temperament.

Parents should encourage kids to explore a variety of interests in a balanced way, without pressure to excel.

Children should be encouraged to pursue activities they enjoy, not pressured to pursue what their parents think they should enjoy.
