Taylor Swift won album of the year for "Midnights" and Victoria Monét won best new artist.
Billie Eilish took home the award for song of the year for "What Was I Made For?" from the "Barbie" movie and Miley Cyrus snagged the trophy for record of the year for "Flowers."
There were memorable performances by Dua Lipa, SZA and Olivia Rodrigo, while collaborations between Joni Mitchell, Brandi Carlile and more, as well as Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman, also stole the show.
Comedian Trevor Noah hosted the awards show from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

'Barbie' and more win big at Grammys Premiere Ceremony
The Grammys Premiere Ceremony, during which the majority of the night's Grammy Awards are announced, was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles ahead of tonight's telecast. Several artists involved with the "Barbie" soundtrack took home early awards.
Billie Eilish and Finneas won best song written for visual media for "What Was I Made For?" while Mark Ronson and several producers behind "Barbie the Album" won for best compilation soundtrack for visual media.
In addition to the night's "Barbie" winners, Victoria Monét took home the award for best R&B Album for "JAGUAR II" and Chris Stapleton won best country song for his single "White Horse." The award for best rock performance went to boygenius for their song "Not Strong Enough."
Artists who performed at the ceremony included Brandy Clark, Kirk Franklin and Laufey.
Christina Aguilera, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey and more to present
Presenters for the 66th Grammy Awards were announced earlier this week.
They include Christina Aguilera, Samara Joy, Lenny Kravitz, Maluma, Lionel Richie, Mark Ronson, Meryl Streep, Taylor Tomlinson and Oprah Winfrey.
The Recording Academy also teased that other surprise guests will take to the stage.
What happened at the 2023 Grammy Awards?
Last year, Harry Styles took home the coveted album of the year trophy for "Harry's House." Song of the year went to Bonnie Raitt for "Just Like That," while Lizzo won record of the year for "About Damn Time." Samara Joy also took home the trophy for best new artist.
History was also made during the 65th annual Grammy Awards when Beyoncé became the artist with the most Grammys ever after she won four of the nine categories for which she was nominated. She now holds the record of most Grammy wins with 32 trophies.
Who is hosting this year's ceremony and how to watch
Comedian Trevor Noah is hosting the Grammy Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
The former "Daily Show" host previously hosted the Grammys in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
In December, Noah took to Instagram to share his excitement about returning to the awards show.
"It's a lot of fun," he said.
The 2024 Grammys begin at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) from the Arena in Los Angeles. It will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
Billie Eilish wins song of the year for 'What Was I Made For?'
Billie Eilish won the Grammy for song of the year for "What Was I Made For?" from the "Barbie" movie, accepting the award from presenter Lionel Richie.
A shocked Eilish thanked her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas in her acceptance speech, calling him "my best friend in the whole world" and crediting him with "[making] me the person I am today" as he stood next to her on the stage.
Eilish also shouted out her fellow nominees, calling them "incredible artists" who delivered "incredible music."
"We're so lucky," Finneas added. "We just continue to be just deeply, deeply privileged lucky people. It's hard to feel deserving ever, but we definitely don't right now. We feel very humbled, very grateful."
Other nominees in the category included "A&W" by Lana Del Rey, "Anti-Hero" by Taylor Swift, "Butterfly" by Jon Batiste, "Dance the Night" by Dua Lipa, "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus, "Kill Bill" by SZA and "Vampire" by Olivia Rodrigo.
