The 2024 Oscars have come and gone, and "Oppenheimer" was the big winner of the night.
Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 96th Academy Awards, a ceremony which honored excellence in cinematic achievements for some of the past year's biggest films.
"Oppenheimer" earned seven Oscars from its 13 total nominations, including the top prize of the night, best picture, as well as best director for Christopher Nolan.
In the lead acting categories, "Poor Things" star Emma Stone took home the award for best actress while "Oppenheimer" star Cillian Murphy took home best actor.
"The Holdovers" star Da'Vine Joy Randolph and "Oppenheimer" star Robert Downey Jr. snagged wins in the supporting acting categories.

How 'Oppenheimer' could make history tonight
Christopher Nolan's biopic "Oppenheimer" could make history tonight by either tying or breaking the record for the most Oscar wins by a single film.
Going into tonight's ceremony, the film was nominated for 13 Oscars, including the coveted best picture award.
Currently, the record for most Oscar wins by a single film is 11. That title is shared by "Ben-Hur," "Titanic" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," with each of those films winning 11 trophies at Academy Awards ceremonies in 1960, 1998 and 2004, respectively.
With 11 total nominations tonight, "Poor Things" has a shot at tying the record.

How Lily Gladstone could make history tonight
All eyes are on Lily Gladstone, as she could become the first Native American woman to win the Oscar for best actress.
The "Killers of the Flower Moon" actress, who is of Siksikaitsitapi and NiMíiPuu heritage, would also become the first person of Native American heritage to win an acting Oscar.
Leading up to the Oscars, Gladstone won several awards including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Critics believe Gladstone or Emma Stone from "Poor Things" will win the award.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos brought the glamour to the red carpet at the 2024 Oscars.
The "LIVE with Kelly and Mark" co-hosts stepped out in classic attire, with Ripa wearing a black dress and Consuelos donning a tux.
Dwayne Johnson steps out on red carpet
Dwayne Johnson stepped out on the red carpet Sunday evening in an dark gray suit with deep red trim at the chest. He posed for photos, briefly wearing a pair of sunglasses.
Johnson is a presenter at this year's Academy Awards.
'American Fiction' wins best adapted screenplay
Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy presented the Oscar for best adapted screenplay to "American Fiction" director and screenwriter Cord Jefferson.
The film was based on the 2001 novel "Erasure" by Percival Everett.
"This means the world to me, thank you so much to the academy," Jefferson said. "There are so many people. I feel so much joy being here, I felt so much joy making this movie, and I want other people to experience that joy, and they are out there, I promise you."
"The next Martin Scorsese is out there, the next Greta's out there, the next Christopher Nolan's out there, I promise you. They just want a shot and we can give them one," he continued. "And this has changed my life. Thank you all who worked on this movie, for trusting a 40-year-old Black guy who had never directed anything before. It has changed my life."
Other nominees in the category included Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig for "Barbie," Christopher Nolan for "Oppenheimer," Tony McNamara for "Poor Things" and Jonathan Glazer for "The Zone of Interest."
