Former "Bachelor" stars Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan have split.
Weber announced in an Instagram post Thursday that although their relationship was "filled with countless beautiful memories," it "simply didn't work out in the end."
Thanking Flanagan for their time together, Weber added that she is "someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand."
"Love is a funny thing. It can make you you [sic] feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist," he wrote. "These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together."
Flanagan, 28, was a competitor on Weber's season of "The Bachelor," but the 29-year-old pilot eliminated her before the season finale. However, the two reconnected after production ended, and in May, Weber posted a photo of them kissing on Instagram.
"You caught me. Let the adventure begin," he captioned it.
